Selvaoscura

The Magical Wood at the eastern edge of Ristteel. At some of the western edges of the forest you can find creatures simply of a larger size or more colorful fashion, but as you move east through the wood the creatures become more rare and deadly and the chance of you making it out continuously go down.

Doors to the Worlds

The Selvaoscura is home to several hidden portals to other planes an realms. Most frequently people pass into the Feywild through the magical wood. That doesn't mean other portals don't exist, but any portal at all is hard to find. That said, creatures and powerful beings often slip through to the quiet forest and must be taken seriously.

Ft. Auir

Only one bastion of civilization exists in the whole of the magical wood, a fort built and run as a joint venture of Dwarves and Elves. The Fort is know for being rough and tumble but is one of the few places you can find help in the deadly forest. The Bounty Board offers you one last chance at a life saving rescue should the worst happen, but only if the price is right.

Without End

If anyone has ever made it to the eastern edge of the forest they've never made it back to talk about their journey or what's on the other side. It's not known to the people of Ristteel where or how the magical wood end, and most who make it that deep into the forest find themselves on other planes of existence before they find their way out.
