Centuries ago a moment of need united the unlikeliest of allies. After years of war amongst themselves humans in the west organized an army to take the land of the dwarves and elves and resettle it for humans devastated by decades of war. This campaign was referred to as the Eastern Incursion. Taking the elves by surprise they quickly took their capital of Pandora, and in an act of desperation an elf made a two week ride in two days between the dwarven and elven capitals to raise the dwarven army who did come to the aid of the elves. The Pantair Army eventually won the war pushing the humans back into the marshes of Hutudi. The route taken by the rider has been crowned the Rochan Mentite, one of the best kept and well defended roads in all of Ristteel Map. Both kingdoms also celebrate Unification Day to mark the occasion. A few of the many small tokens of a tenuous peace and respect among the still allied elves and dwarves.

The Pandoran Elves have thrived of recent under the Leadership of King Kennith the First and House Undómiel. Though still a reclusive people the Elves do maintain their alliance with the dwarves exchanging ambassadors and sharing libraries, forts and keeps as well as the Rochan Mentite. But, concern has been growing in the Pantair. Rumors of a young dragon taking roost have permeated through Morkehuler and Priroda and having lost his seat to a dragon once already the King is not taking such rumors lightly. Mobilizing his best troops to protect groves and villages and sending out his best agents from The Eyes of Corellon to gather intelligence, all this makes all wonder how serious this threat might truly be…

The heir to the throne Princess Kenny sets out after a last minute edict from her father to travel from Pandora to the dwarven city of Belegost. He sends his trusted court member Trogdor Dragonlance with his daughter and an outsider, recommended to him by a trusted old friend by the name of Aranea of the Moon. The oddly small diplomatic mission is told to make sure they reach Belegost by Unification Day. Though attacked on the Rochan Mentite they make it safely to Belegost finding out once they get there that a notrious criminal, a goblin boss named Krenko had escaped and killed a few in the streets of Belegost. The three companions decided to lend their expertise in bringing the escaped criminal back to justice.

After following clues and fighting their way through a sewer the companions found themselves outside an obvious hideout where the goblin boss was surely staying. After sneaking around to decrease the number of guards PK, Trogdor and Aranea were not only able to storm the hideout but also capture Krenko alive...wet and unconscious, but alive. The "rented" a horse and cart and snuck Krenko back to their accommodations trying to decide what to do with the criminal who they knew had greased some government palms. After some deliberation Trogdor went to Byzr Redsunder, a friend and captain of the town guard to make sure Krenko was returned to justice.

Despite being sent specifically have an audience with Evlavios Dualhammer the party had not yet seen the well renowned dwarf. As days went by they were asked to take part in competitions for Unification Day The three each won their competitions; PK the title of High Mage of Belegost and holder of the Diviner's Ring; Aranea won the title of Belegost's Champion and the Olympian's Sash; and Trogdor the title of Master Archer and the Archer's Bracers. After much fun and celebration ant the Unification Day feast the party woke then next day to treat with Evlavios who they had finally gotten to meet the night before. Evlavios gave them some dire information and good ideas about where to get more of it, a Green Hag on the eastern side of the Ursa Mountains. He warned them the dangers of treating with a hag, and decided to make sure they had enough magic items to buy information from her. As such he gave PK Corellon's Jewel a old heirloom of her line, Aranea the Eyes of the Dragon and Trogdor the Blood Runestone. He also gave all of them the Eyes of Minute Seeing to trade to the hag. With that he introduced them to his friend Khoj and sent them on their way over The Starshard Traverse
